Theatre Credits include: The Rise and Fall of Little Voice (Union Theatre, Off West End Award Nomination for Best Director), The Spitfire Grill (Union Theatre, Broadway World Award for Best New Production of a Musical), Stephen Sondheim’s Putting it Together (St James Theatre/ GLive), Dream Queen (Shakespeare’s Globe), Betty Blue Eyes (The Old Rep Theatre, Birmingham). Concert credits include: Sondheim: Smiles of a Summer Night (Cadogan Hall), My Fair Lady: 60th Anniversary Gala (St Paul’s Church), A Little Night Music and Kings of Broadway (both at Palace Theatre). Workshop credits include: Sex, Chips and Rock N’ Roll, Fanny & Stella. Television credits include: The Elaine Paige Show (Sky Arts).

Alastair is the founder and curator of RE:act –the new-writing and artist development initiative that provides a regular platform for emerging theatre-makers. Through RE:act Alastair has developed many new plays and musicals at venues including: HighTide Festival, VAULT Festival and Old Vic New Voices.
