West End musical credits include The Bodyguard (The Adelphi/Dominion), Gypsy (Savoy), Mrs Henderson Presents (Noël Coward), Annie (Piccadilly) and Young Frankenstein (Garrick).

Michael is Managing Director of Qdos Entertainment and has created over 100 pantomimes for the company. Michael created Cinderella at the London Palladium in 2016, followed by Dick Whittington for Christmas 2017. Gypsy won four Laurence Olivier Awards including Best Musical Revival and was filmed for transmission on television both in the UK and in the USA. The Bodyguard has gone on to play in Canada, Australia, Holland, Germany, Italy, South Korea, USA and China with France and South Africa soon to open. With Cameron Mackintosh, he produced Barnum (Chichester Festival Theatre). With David Ian, Michael is currently producing Sunset Boulevard and Scrooge (both at the Curve, Leicester.)

Tour credits include: Aspects of Love, The Witches of Eastwick, Chess, I Dreamed A Dream, Jolson and Co, Annie, Funny Girl, and The Bodyguard. In 2012 he was awarded a companionship to the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts by Sir Paul McCartney, and in 2017 the Freedom of the City of Newcastle upon Tyne in recognition of his services to theatre in the region.
